Tales of the Sea

MAGGIE SMITH

Maggie is a painter, printmaker and workshop teacher living in the South Hams area of Devon and is constantly inspired by the sea, surrounding natural landscape and her garden, especially her chickens.

She works in a variety of mediums ranging from large mixed media pieces to small intricate printmaking and some of her images are on cards, tea towels, stationery and mugs.

Maggie co- runs “ The Gallery at Avon Mill ”, Loddiswell which exhibits work from a variety of artists from South Devon.

is a book to uplift people in moments of self doubt, loss of confidence and in times of creative blocks.

Maggie shares her experiences during difficult times and includes her beautiful photographs and images of her artwork accompanied by thoughtful quotations; taking you on a journey through the seasons.

Each season contains different sections which include the subject matter which inspire Maggie in her daily life as an artist
